The water temp at Joe Pool is in the 50s now.Unless you find the hump or the crappie bunched there is little reason to go there until spring.Thats one reason Loyd Park closes the winter.

I saw a video on youtube of Howell Dodd tying a jig for crappie fishing and finally came across this topic, and was wondering if any of the Joe Pool Posse are still around. Did go thru the post about his passing. Sounded like a real fine fellow. If any of the posse are still posting give us a shout out.

I caught over 150 sandbass one night under the bridge at joe pool im trying to come home with some kind of dinner today so i went on here looking for tips

That pic looks very familiar Brian. We sure did have a good time fishing with you last year. I would of never believe Joe Pool had any fish in it if I hadn't been there.
