 BIG fish from the kayak

Had several bull reds last Friday a Mcfaddin beach. We were anchored about 300 yards out. I got a nice lapshot of one of mine...  My wife really tore them up landing several. Here are a couple of pics of a skinny one and a real pig that was pushing 46"!!!...   It was a blast!!! Ty

cool pics yall must of had lots of fun ive always wonderd about fishin for sharks out of a Yak, how bad do those reds tow the Yak around

Anchored out off the surf 300 yds. We were using mullet that day.

Agree with the nice pics.
but form a land locked flat lander....what's a circle hook. I saw the hook next to the good looking girl but don't know what is special about the hook..

A circle hook is a hook that is pretty much shaped in a circle formation. A big advantage of using them, especially on big fish is that when they eat the bait, you don't set the hook, it sort of sets itself. Also, it's harder for the fish to spit the hook out!! That's my wife in the photo. She really gets after it when it comes to fishing. She can outfish most men. Here's a great pic from Rockport...  Ty

Love the color on that fish, they get soooo bronze up on the flats! Pretty lady with a pretty fish!
