The Greenville store has lots of empty pegs. It has not been open very long. They had lots of Zoom baits when they opened, but not too many now. I had to go back to BPS to pick up some baits for my grandson.

Not good to hear they are off their A game at the Greenville location. Went when it opened and most recently for the Falcon rod and Daiwa reel clearance--was still well stocked then.

I just got back from the Academy store in Greenville. They have restocked their Zoom baits and there is a lot to pick from.

The Temple store has been this way for a couple years now. I can't remember the last time I saw a spool jr in the Temple store.

I shop at the Burleson store.. I think the biggest issue there is they don't have enough people to restock the shelves.. I see carts full of baits with one person.. usually a young woman that has no clue about fishing.. stocking the pegs and probably taking forever to do it.. Not a slight on her, its just she doesn't know enough about the baits to quickly restock. There are a lot of empty pegs that there is probably stock for but its not getting put up. my 2 cents. BD

I use to work at the waco store a few years ago. It took me a while but I got to where the bass fishing section only had three empty pegs. Sometimes it's not academy fault that there are so many empty pegs. People will put lures on the wrong pegs all the time, throw them on the ground and stealing just to name a few.

Temple Academy fishing dept. has sucked for the past 2 + years. Management in store is weak. ( Spoken to them several times).

Same around the Austin area, seems like the only place I can go to get the lures I want and need is online
