I don't think the 998 got the latest update for it to link to the newest I Pilot link system. May have to be at least a xx9 or newer

I just put a Humminbird 360 on the transom and moved my 1199 up front and the 998 to the console...I think I'm covered for the switch and now regret my recent purchase of a Fortrex. Arghhh...The money we spend on toys. roflmao

Thanks for all the feedback! Ultrex it is. Because I do get tired of fighting the wind. And it tends to blow some in North Texas.

I am getting helix 9 si and ultrex installed tomorrow. Can't wait to try them out. How do you like the 3y0, been keeping my eye on that thing
