I've got some brown water-line stains on my hull. I know I should've wiped it down after each trip and I will once I get the stain out. What's the best way to get it white again?

I've seen people spray toilet bowl cleaner on a white hull and from what I could tell that took it out pretty well.

I used this stuff from Academy on my white boat. I was amazed.

When I bought my boat last year it had a pretty good layer of grime/oxidation. I used star-brite (from Academy), which is more of a water-based product and Mcguire's oxidation remover, which is more gritty and it helped get the more stubborn areas. Here are a few before and after pics.

Bar Keepers Friend - It's right next to the comet. Make sure you use it only on the tough stains and rinse thoroughly. DO NOT use it for regular cleaning - just when absolutely needed.

Softscrub works well too.. same goes with this stuff. It will kill the shine if you use it too often or don't rinse well.

Also a magic eraser works great!!!

Toilet bowl cleaner works great, but don't get it on trailer at all, it eats through paint. not sure how to not get it on trailer with rinse.

We use toilet bowl cleaner and hydrogen peroxide mixed 50/50 I believe. It works good just mix it in a spray bottle and spray it on then wash it off with a water hose. If there's a tough spot just rub it in a bit and it'll come off.

That stuff is super corrosive, will do a number on a boat trailer and bunk mounting hardware if you don't rinse it thoughougly, do it with the boat off the trailer.
