Regional is Thursday-Saturday only 20 college boats fishing Saturday so won't be to many more boats on water. Friday will be worse with full college field 100+ and people pre fishing for TTT

Lake is taking a pounding once again. Maybe one day they will realize the need to give back a little. Honestly I think tournaments should have to donate back some funding depending on their entries. All finds go to restocking more fingerlings.

That isn't a bad idea Jaret, but I would like to see the local businesses step up as well. They are the ones who are getting the proverbial "shot in the arm" every weekend between now and June.
Everything on your bass boat is broken......You just don't know it yet.

Seems it's worse now more than it has been because it's Saturday and Sunday with a few hundred boat tournaments.

BASS college this weekend with TTT and High School on Sunday. Then next weekend FLW college is there. I won't be there for BASS but 2 boats from my school will be at FLW next week.

With all of the lakes we have in Texas, you have to wonder why Rayburn seems to be the only one every trail wants to fish all the damn time. Granted every now and then they have one on Toledo, but the FLW BFL hasn't been anywhere else for the past few years other than Rayburn and Toledo.
They used to have the Red River mixed in also. But why is it that we can't get some on Conroe, Fork, Richland Chambers, etc?? Don't tell me about travel, just go take a look at the results from these tournaments and look where all of these fisherman are coming from.

BFL had a 230 boat full field last weekend. Last year in the North ABA division, there wasn't even enough boats for Triton Gold. Tournament organizations are not charities. There might be change if they start getting participation when they get closer to Dallas. For some reason to me, It seems like the Dallas crowd only wants to fish team events. Just my speculation.

I would like to see Conroe or Livingston in the mix but I am in the minority, Ray-Ledo is what draws the masses so they have no reason to go anywhere else. I've got no problem with events but the more we have, it's more taking than giving back to the lake. With delayed mortality it certainly has some impact on fish. You would think as big as the high school and college events are getting, creating some sort of funding for stocking efforts would be easy.

Every fisherman is giving back via license fees. But I agree seems like its getting hit pretty hard, and its still turning out good numbers.
I don't know of a place on Conroe, or Livingston that could handle Bass Champs or TTT with the numbers they hit on Rayburn.
Where is the college tournament out of?

Where is the college tournament out of? If Toledo can start a program for 10lb fish being released then I think a restocking program for Rayburn could be done. It's only the most pressured tournament lake in the country. I would have no problem paying an extra $10-$20 per person per event. Heck some events you are already in it for $400-500. $20 is a couple baits.
