Was an awesome morning on Saturday, zero visibility , used my lake maps to just get right in the middle of the Sabine channel. Zero wind made it tough for my plan to drift , so we just made the best of it and chunked out some big shad heads. When this big girl grabbed ahold and started stripping drag. The battle was on and Brandon Handled her well and put the old I mean old uglystick to the test! She had a big ol gamagtzu #8 broke of in her mouth with a good atleast 40lb mono hanging from her mouth from a break off. Pics and burped her and off she went. A trip burned in our brains for life. (Shout out to all my local fisherbuddies on knowledge, bait, tips. all I pass on to others)

How do you burp a fish? (Honest question).

Take a piece of 1/2 inch PVC with the ends rounded. Put in just past the gullet with the fish on its belly. You will hear the air.
Best way though is take your time bringing it in. When you see big bubbles, it has expelled the air

Man I'll let others chime in. I've been lucky enough to just roll them around on my legs while sitting. But others use a blunt pvc etc. LOL what Tom said
