Going back for 2 days this week. Want to fish only larger streamers. Need advise on best stretch(s) of water to safely wader/throw/move/repeat. Thanks in advance.

I did well on Crystal Buggers over Christmas. Lunch Moneys and Brunch Moneys by Matt Bennet at Fly Geek (orvis carries them) did well too.

Larger streamers? Not that effective on LMF in my opinion. Not enough large browns to make it worth the effort. Zone II on no generation would be your best bet, but fish are limited. You might tie into anything (smallie, trout, drum, walleye) if you go below the re-reg. Safety is another matter - just listen for sirens and watch for rising water. The good news is generation has been very light.
Smaller streamers like crystal buggers, size 8-12 woollies, and small sculpins are working well. The larger pools on spillway creek and the heavy water in the day use area are my favorites for streamers.

I don't care about the species I don't keep anything just the fun of catching for me. I have been looking at Zone II on Google earth and will now try there.

If you go zone two when the water bottoms out after generation throw a white Zonker. Shad that go through the turbines will be in a smaller space and the fish feed heavy right when it bottoms out! They know to save their energy till the baitfish are in the least amount of water to chase them.
