Was thinking of going to the Sabine in the next few days. Probably launch at 59 or 1794 in Carthage. I haven't been on the river yet this spring. Think it would be worth the trip yet?

Last year it had started by Jan 20. There was hardly a winter last year. I suspect it will be on soon.

Only one way to know for sure.

If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space!

I don't think they are running in huge numbers yet, although if I get a good report from my buddy who lives out there I will be making a trip this weekend. The river rose a LOT last week so maybe that will help considering it was pretty low.
