Has anyone seen one. They are advertising a 15" screen. Think I will just wait until the 55" comes out.

It is funny how absurd fishing equipment has gotten. The thing is, people will run out and buy them because they "have" to have them and there is no way in the world to catch fish without them.

Wondering how many people are pissed because they just went out and bought the new Helix units with Mega Imaging haha. Good news for me is this will drive down the older Helix units for me to snatch up at a good price.

If they were smart, screens would be seperate, you could buy the units, then add the size screen(s) you want.

I've never bought a new unit. My boat came with some Hbird 11 somethings. If one were to buy a Solix for 3500, what does that include? How much are we talking including transducer, card, mount and installation?

Good news for me is this will drive down the older Helix units for me to snatch up at a good price. I doubt as much as you hope. The original helix units aren't being discontinued. I want a mega unit but I have no desire for a touch screen. 15" is going to be huge! I can't imagine it on my boat. I just bought the 12" and almost took the 10 because I thought the 12 was too big but the price was too good to pass up. I don't know if I'd want a 15" on my boat.

Just went to the Humminbird website. They are showing a 12.1 inch and 15.4 inch for the Solix Series available in March. They have a lot of information.
It sure looks like these units are going to be freaking awesome. Now if I could justify spending the money it will take to put a 12 inch on my boat.

Mega is legit guys my buddy got a 10 for his boat and we took it out to lake Tyler. Found 2 boats and detail was incredible. Have not messed with settings much either. I'm going to shoot a video on it next time we go out.
