Lot of ways. The more I use mine, the more I love it. It's a great tool to find brush piles. When I'm fishing a lake I'm not greatly familiar with, I can go down a row of boat houses and see the brush piles in front of certain docks before I go over the top of them. I can see stumps or laydowns in front of the boat that are underwater and cannot be seen above water. It's awesome for chasing schooling fish. When you see them surfacing and chase over to them and they are gone, you can scan the area and see how far away from the boat they are and how deep they are. You can watch a fish react to your bait. Whether they are attacking it or ignoring it. You can see crappie in trees. Panoptix is a great tool to add to your arsenal.
