Did anyone see that guy beach his boat? How the heck did that happen? Did anyone get hurt? I'm guessing someone wasn't familiar with the lake and didn't realize the water was 4ft low?

I wasn't there this weekend but you should have been around in 2011-2012 during the drought. That was a common occurrence!

You should hear a boat running aground in the pre-dawn hour of a tournament. Sends a shiver down your spine. Twice at Hubbard Creek.

We poled down in front of him waiting on take off. His partner had his back to everyone the entire time. Embarrassing to say the least. If you're unfamiliar with the lake, don't be a tard and run where you think there is water. Glad nobody was hurt that I know of.

From the pic that you took, looks like I was about 10 boats down from you. I don't know what he was thinking. My guess he was not familiar with that area of the lake. Guess he launched across the lake and was running back to the Pavilion.

Looks like he launched at Twin Dikes and his map showed there was water over that ridge. Which there is a little when the lake is full.

The drain thru has a couple inches of water remaining. Maybe he ran it a few months ago when higher. Who knows...rook move

I wouldn't go through that section when the lake is full. It would have to be 2 ft high to be safe

I have watched a lot of you tube clips on accidents involving bass boats and the majority of them occur at night or early morning. I have been on Fork during several of the BB events and it is not worth trying to get out real early because of all the idiots out on the water.

That ruined his day. I understand how it happens, but you have to use caution, especially in low light. If an area showed 4' on my GPS, I would be leery of running it in the dark unless I absolutely knew the lake. I know 4' is fine to run, but it doesn't take a very tall stump in 4' of water to take out a lower unit.

Without adjustment anywhere that shows 4' will literally be inches of water right now. Lake is 4ft low

How in the world do you get off of there? Tie up to several boats and hope they can drag you back to water?
