I would to peoples opinion on using the metal culling rings. Do you think the fish heal when people keep putting them through jaw or lips?

I think they heal eventually

I have always thought whether you do it for the fish feeling or not it's better to use the clips. We tear their mouth up with jigs and crankbaits enough. Think how many times have you pulled a fish up and seen a giant hole in the fish's mouth and thought "man I'm glad my hook didn't find that hole" Just saying I think clips are the future

I can't keep the clips on, they come off. I may get a different brand and try again

I don't understand why this is such a big deal. They're just fish and the standard culls don't kill them. Just make the hole at the very base of the lip and you're good.
