Ditched work this afternoon and tried the wind blown points, fish moving in to spawn(I think). A few of the males were oozing milt, all the females stuffed with eggs. 56 degree water, 5-8 FOW, silver and blue Gay Blades worked just fast enough to make them vibrate. Light bite, but the needle sharp hooks did their job. If you can get GPS off pic properties , it's wrong, I'm not as nice as Bruce when it comes to giving it all away ( Just kidding Bruce)

Good work! Proves the fact that all white bass don't go upstream in the creeks. Lots of them spawn on those wind blown points!
Just one more cast!

That swimming area at big creek should be on fire right now. When the park used to be open, you could see wade fisherman leave out of there with probably close to 1000 fish total in one morning.

Jimbo: I agree while most of the fish head upstream, by my estimate about 1/3 hang out in the mid to lower lake. Have experienced this many times over the last 30 years or so. During drought and low water years they physically can not go upstream. Tacklehoarder: You are correct, caught many there in the past too.

Great catch!!
Curious, the entire lower third of the lake is so shallow. Where do they usually hang out in that area?
