what would be the best prop set up for a 95 201 pro xl with a 99 225 mecr. running a high five now and it will blow out every once in while at wot [5800]. has great hole shot but top end is only around 64-65 gps. thanks for any advice

Had the same exact boat with a 225 Evinrude. I was running a 4 blade 25 pitch Renegade. Turning 6,000RPM and pushing 72mph

25 or 26 Tempest. The Stratos runs best with the largest diameter prop you can get. Most likely the 25 will be all you can turn in the hot weather. Holeshot will suffer but midrange and topend will improve.

I would throw a 25 tempest on it and call it a day. That will be your best all round prop for that setup.
