That was a cool video, why does it have to be so cold!!!! I want to fish now! Ha! We stuck a bunch of jerkbait fish today but it was waiting on a 5-10 count... they definitely weren't wolf packing!!!

What's crazy to me is how many times a bass can hit a lure with 2 and 3 treble hooks and still not get hooked.

Question; all those strikes at the bait where they just let the bait go, Could you feel that real well at the rod? I'm amazed at how many unsuccessful strikes you had on a jerkbait with two treble hooks..

Thank you so much guys!
Crankenstein7, we'd rolled the hook points in order to get the best footage. That said, most of those strikes happened start to finish in less than 1/2 second. We learned a lot about jerkbait hooks shooting this because if the hook doesn't "bite" on its own to start, the fish is gone before you can swing whether you feel them or not. I went so far as to take a reaction time test to compare myself to the fish in the video and I could only have legitimately swung on 3 of them.
