It was about 9 degrees this morning at squaw, areators were froze up, motors wouldn't start, one guys boat would go in reverse but wouldn't go forward, , ramp was freezing by the time everyone launched, the fog made a slick sheet of white ice on the deck of the boats, , fog delay lasted till about 9,

I went to Bass Pro this afternoon, saw a lone fisherman on Ray Hubbard when I was heading home.

Livewells frozen shut. Had to kick and stomp on them to get em open. Then the pumps wouldn't pump and I had to use my cooler like a bucket to fill my livewells. Lol.

From last Saturday...  Nice Yellow Perch. Best eating fish in the world! Even better than Walleye and Crappie!

From last Saturday... Nice Yellow Perch. Best eating fish in the world! Even better than Walleye and Crappie! I have caught them in NW Ontario. When you find them, you generally find LOTS of them.

That's 100% Yellow Lake Perch. As a kid (and young adult) used to catch them by the 100's off the shore in Chicago. The BEST tasting fish ever!!
