We have a surveillance system and have been happy with it. I'm thinking about adding a second dvr as a backup. I can split the output of my current dvr pretty easily. My question is if they make a dvr that will just record everything that comes in an HDMI cable? I don't need multiple channels or anything on the second one since my current dvr takes care of that. I've done some research and have not found one. What say the TFF?

That uses space fast and since Frontier took over our internet is down a lot. I really want another physical dvr. I have a good secure place to store it.

The backup would be in a more secure location. Would be tough to get stolen if someone broke in.
