Heard of people catching good fish off of brush piles this time of year. Anyone had any luck on Palestine on brush? What foot of water and what part of the pile (top or sides). PM if you would like to help.

I would say most piles are between. 12 and 24 ft. 16 to 18 will hold fish most of the year. Sometimes, fishing over the top is the ticket , sometimes a crank or two is where they are. Build it and they will come. . Mo

Agree with Mo, Brush is the ticket. Have not been on the lake much this year, but it works!
Using the site for a while...this is really great to share fishing ideas and success with others.
