Is it better to go through a lawyer or has anyone gone through Legal Zoom? Age 55 and wanting something in place in case something ever happens to me or my wife. Thanks.

Draw one up and have a take it to a lawyer to look it over, that would be your cheapest route and you will also get a professionals opinion.

It's not that expensive, go to attorney, get will for you and wife. Get medical power of attorney for each and get dnr for each if that's your wish. There are times the internet is fine. Your final wishes and questions about late stage care are not when I would look to save a few bucks.

Thank you gentlemen. This is something the wife wants in place this year, we have been putting it off and just want to have everything in order.
