i am trading my tritoon off and going back to a 179trx Triton. about 6 years ago i bought a Terrova iPilot for the tritoon, but didn't use it a lot. Very little usage. I am somewhat familiar with it and do like it. the 179trx comes with a Motor Guide X70. My question is, should i leave the motor guide on the boat as is or should i have them credit it back and install my terrova? To me it looks as if the terrova is a better way to go, but not staying tuned in over the last 6-8 years, am i overlooking anything or am i thinking correct? Input or suggestions?

A lot of variables her...

Does the Terrova have i-Pilot?

What type of fishing do you do (species)?

Is the motorguide 12v or 24v, Is the Terrova 12v or 24v?

Do you prefer cable steer (foot control) or electric steer (remote)?

Thank you for the reply

Yes, it is an iPilot

I am getting back into bass/crappie fishing but have primarily been catfishing.

Both are 24V

I have no preference on cable or motor steer.
