I finally got around to posting some pictures of my recent trip to Toledo. My timing was off by about a week as the fishing appears to have really kicked off up there. I managed to pull in a nice 3 1/2 lb female bass - my biggest so far. Here are some pics:

Very nice. What part of TBend were you fishing. Geeez I miss that lake.

We fished the Six Mile area. My friend's in-laws live in Shawnee Shores and have a private launch. The sunrise pictures are inside a little cove near the launch. The bass also came out of that area. She just about top-watered a t-rig powerbait in watermelon. I rolled the worm off a branch across a little stick-up, and all I saw was her huge mouth coming out of the water.

1st day pulled in 3 crappie and 4 bass for keeps. Also met Skip_48 under the six-mile bridge where I tried bridge jigging for the first time in horrid winds. We came up empty our 2nd day for whatever reason. Caught a few dinks, but nothing else. That sunrise the 2nd day made the whole trip awesome.

Very nice. I used to fish the Six Mile area. We had a camp in Sandy Creek. I miss the old Six Mile Cafe. Good times.
