Will be at Palestine from Monday until Saturday. Looks like decent weather on Monday and Tuesday before it gets windy. Hope to find the crappie. I'll be in a red/white 22' Crestliner Bay center console. Stop by and say hi if you see me out. Merry Christmas to all the TFF'ers!

1st day ended up with 17 keepers. Not to bad. Best color was purple/chartreuse.

Well done, what depth ? ( I hope you have better luck with your Crestliner Bay boat than I did. I bought a 2014 , I had it for year and a half, stranded me on the lake Many times. Ended up taking it to two different dealers neither one could fix it Crestliner replaced the wiring harness, that didn't fix it. Crestliner would not stand behind their product. They blamed it on mercury and mercury blamed it on them. It was in the shop more than it was on the lake . I traded it for a Skeeter, lost about $8K on it).
Does yours have the hand controlled trolling motor? If so I have a Bigfoot trolling motor switch that you can have

So far I love my Crestliner Bay boat. Nope problems so far (knock on wood!!!).
Hope the wind cooperates the next 2 days. If the weather people are right, it's going to be pretty windy out there.

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

Didn't even attempt it today with that wind. Went shopping this morning Shopping!!! Did you get you some beaver nuggets Monday morning!! Those suckers are good!! I could spend an hour in that store looking around!!! Hell we spent 40 minutes there Monday morning getting snacks, ice, and deer corn!! Little man was pouty I didn't let him get another toy gun. We got road sign bingo instead and played if on the drive to the deer woods!!
