Wife and me hit the lake around 10:30 lite misting rain and 48 deg. Looked like prim dead sticking day. Started at wind blown side of Holiday hump (it a holiday weekend lol) marked a few fish in 30 to 40 ft. The fog came in and no wind. There was only about a 30 yard visibility. Stayed at Holiday hump till 4:00 with not luck I guess the fish could not see the flukes. The fog never got any better and it started to get colder. It was a long slow ride back to State Park. With out lake map on hummingbird we would not have found our way back.
Did any one have any luck in the fog?
We will try it again Monday.
Merry Christmas to all.

We were out in it for most of the day and caught some fish. Picked up a few at every stop, but never really got them going real good. There is bait bunched up everywhere and fish were a little scattered. Best option was drifting when there was enough wind to do it and strolling when it went flat. Fish were in 40+ Fow on the edges of the points, ledges meet the flats, and in open water. With the fish scattered thumping really helped!
Once we could get a good school to stay under us is the only time we would have multiple hookups.
All fish caught on 3 and 5in flukes. Fog was brutal, glad you made it back ok, we could hear boats running @ and we all had our heads on swivels.

I know Matt C had a stellar day as usual.

Glad your made it safely back Steve. This is what it looks like right now from my weekend home. Fog got thicker. I've heard a boat earlier running. Won't be fishing today...left my graph at home.

This is from yesterday. We deadsticked from 10:30 till 4:30. It was hard moving around the lake and the use of the mapping was a must. We fished 4 or 5 places and ended up with a total of 8 fish. Pictured is Ken with his first deadstick fish of the season. Thanks for taking me fishing Ken!

I know Matt C had a stellar day as usual!!!
