More like 2 - 3 inches. The bigger crappie are the small one. Did a figure 8 like musky to get them to bite
fishing is one thing. catching is another

To everyone having a hard time, it's not the air pressure. Fish will bite just fine even if the air pressure is high or falling too fast or doing whatever is mentioned above. LOCATION is EVERYTHING when it comes to catching crappie. This is why at some creeks you find people lining the banks in certain areas catching fish. That is because they have located the crappie. Case and point was yesterday when I found an area at a creek that was about the side of a couch that was LOADED with good fish. Once I got out of that area, I just reeled in because I knew I wouldn't get bite. I couldn't tell you how many times I have went to a creek and did very well when everyone else was staying home because of the pressure. i agreed what you talking that, but pressure still important. txpacker 4 and your experience if add together ,might clean it all the creek,my was location +equipment+timing+weather that's right we alway's carry two rod. fish Thanks for the props brother! How did you do out there yesterday KFJ? I managed around 20ish with probably 8-10 possibly being keepers, between 5:00pm-6:30pm. I've got a full schedule today, so the fish are safe from me today. I'll be back at it tomorrow, and probably all day Saturday. BTW, I actually found them sitting shallower than they have been. I caught most of mine yesterday, in about 5'-6', fishing with 1/32 hand tied white/chartreuse about 4.5' under a float.

In another creek yesterday, they were hugging the bottom in the deepest holes, up to 20' deep. Nothing to be found shallow.

Seems like you correct everything he says, you rarely offer many reports, you rarely give locations etc, but you just try to disprove Cody and Carey. I heard you're guiding now? You'd sell more trips if you took away the negativity. I'm sorry buddy, but the air pressure is usually a pretty safe bet when fish are in the creeks.

I'm just simply wanting people to keep an open mind because the fish that I catch don't seem to be bothered by the pressure. I guess that makes me negative lol. Out of respect for jimmy.. I won't say anything else on here. Tight lines.

I clarified my statement, and he clarified his. No harm, no foul. It's all good.

Went out to Rowlett today and met up with Kung Foo Jimmy. He set me up with a slip bobber, jig color, and depth. What a great day. Caught a few small ones and a keeper. Jimmy had a couple of keepers that he gave to me for dinner. Lets enjoy each others company, info, fishing space, and respect. Thank you Jimmy for all your info and letting me catch some fish without all the bull [censored]. Your a very generous man who makes this forum a better place to get fishing!!!!!!
