The weekly series final regular season tournament ended with three limits weighed and one humongus big bass (10.48). Just thought I would share it with you guys. These two guys didn't even know about the Texas Fishing Forum (until today, when I told them the pictures would be posted on here).   Joe Pool was very generous today!! My partner and I won it with 4.75 we caught over 20 fish from 1:30 TO 5:00 with a number of slots mixed in there. Enjoy!

Thanks for the photo. I was there all morning Saturday and laid the golden egg. Since i couldn't buy a bass i went crappie fishing last night around midnight and caught 26 keepers with my son of which 5 went for over a pound and a half with the biggest at 1.98. Very new to the lake and area and i have to tell ya that the bass fishing has me a little frustrated but at least after last night...i believe there are fish in this lake. hahahah. Yesterday morning a guy brought in a 9lber fishing for crappie. (wanted to pull my hair out when i saw that)

I was about 75-80 yards from them (not fishing the tourney) when they caught that fish. I had my mp3 player on (and pretty loud) and I could hear them yelling when they landed that fish!
It makes me proud to see guys that I fish against every week catch a fish like that. I had to give them a big thumbs up as the cranked up and headed to weigh in. They were fist pumping and on top of the world.
