 Question about reel use

I bought a KVD PT TOUR spinning reel made by quantum and would like to know what you guys think about my using it for a half day of fishing in the Atlantic Ocean. I carry fresh water in the truck to rinse off my gear after fishing. https://www.amazon.com/Quantum-TKVD30PTI...CA4T18NV5MTC1C1

go for it.you can spray it down corrosion X. It will help keep the salt off the reel.Get home and rinse the reel in the shower.wipe it dry and your ready to go.

Rinse after each trip, check it monthly, and if dipped complete breakdown degrease and relubricate!!!

don't forget to remove line and clean line and spool, some get a bad surprise there

Rinse after each trip, check it monthly, and if dipped complete breakdown degrease and relubricate!!! Complete breakdown as in take off spool and handle, line, etc...or take every screw out and turn the reel into 100 pieces, clean and reassemble?

I'll wipe them down with reel magic after the cold water rinse. A drop of reel oil in each handle bearing, and an occasional drop of bearing oil in the reel bearings (1 drop only) will keep it performing.
