I haven't been crappie fishing on this lake in years, anyone know if they are biting?

I haven't been recently but plan to go as soon as we get a little warmer weather. This time of year is usually decent.

I'm trying to get out this weekend, just don't really want to waste my time if no fish are biting

Try the bridges or the creeks. Both have been producing.

Bite was good last week. Most where about 20' depth on bridge post below bait. Caught quite a few up creek as well, but most under size. Not a lot of bait or fish in creek yet, but they are starting to make the move. Bobby Garland monkey milk jigs produced well for me. I think this would be about the same for any bridge or creek on the lake currently.
Preserving Texas fishing heritage one lure at a time.

Thanks guys helps a lot, I assume you rig those up the same way a little tube jig? Back in the day when me and my dad fished we always used the little tube jigs. I'm not familiar with all he stuff they have now
