Not sure but think I heard the the original Warts now sold are the same mold and plastic as the old ones? Someone told me they switched the plastic due to environmental concerns and you can't get the original plastic anymore.

The Best lures had lead in them. Same thing with ri vixen. The Norman pro pop was the same. I re-painted some "real" ol'skool wiggle warts for a customer. I agree with a couple of the responses about the warts now being made...yes, same mold but different plastic and not the lead balls inside. Not the same action even though the same mold type. Pradco stopped production of the pro pop after purchasing Norman....boooo!
