A 20' Eyra with a 250 will probably beat my boat.

Your own kid got a captian who's been fishing the lake 10 times longer than I've even lived on the lake, you deffinetly shoudlve won, but apparently you guys think I go out every school day or something. But reality is I have home work, that's why my grades are good;). Last year I fished 6 days through my team with captians. And I do Belive you had the same opportunity I did on lake Livingston, you guys even prefished it. Guess since you didn't get to take people's spot like on somervile you weren't to lucky....

Got my boat in July. But you already knew that but still trying to make excuses for zeroing. I'm still shocked with all the trash you were talking about how you'd whoop my A** on Conroe. And I believed you would especially with how long your captain had been fishing that lake.

That's fast for sure, especially for a boat that large. Great looking boats. I used to fish out of my friends Bullet years ago. His Allison is crazy fast. It's an older one but still going strong and looks great.

Are there seriously 2 high school kids arguing on this thread??? Would this be deemed poor sportsmanship by the controlling authorities of high school fishing? Back in the day boys would meet somewhere after school for some harmless fisticuffs, shake hands and go about their business after it was all over. Now they are airing their grievances on the inner webs for everyone to see This is Classic!

It's just friends talking trash, two teeensgers and myself. I'm not a high school kid and far from It. They go back since they were young kids, from motocross racing to fishing competition now. Don't take it seriously.

First you need to research your motors best rpm operating range. The maker of the motor will have the guidelines. When you change the pitch you also are changing the rpms at the same time for optimal running. My Yamaha performs best when I keep my rpms between 5100 and 5300. With a 26 p. I get around 58mph with it. If I use the 25p my rpms stay at 5300 rpms and I push 61 mph. Keep in mind all this is wide open throttle. I didn't say that's were I get the best gas consumption, just the faster speed the book says to stay 3000-4000 rpms if that's what you want. Just do research before jumping in. You can spend a ton of money in this area. Just my thoughts on the subject
