any kind of stamp to go with my hunting liscense.
What is the best caliber or gauge for crappie?

I use a step ladder and a rope baited with a thong.

Well let's see.... Crappie season opened on Sept 21, 1937 for me and I hope it stays open another 20 years or so.
Crappie season never closes for a serious Crappie fisherman.

If they arent shallow yet where your hunting, I would go to a heavy load, 12 ga. with #4 shot. Youll get better penetration at the depths. Hunting license is fine, No stamp required as long as you dont have a R&R in the boat. Season opens at the close of Deer season.

Crappie season never closes for a serious Crappie fisherman. OK EARNEST What caliber do you use then you profesional you do you use long guns or hand guns.......what bullet weight do you prefere

For me crappie season opens around Thanksgiving weekend, and runs up to about the first of march. That is when all the "fair weather weekenders" start emerging from hibernation and pretty much signal the end of the season for serious crappie devotees!

Rudy Well that will be 1 less after March 1st. Then they chase sandbass!
