Billy, great video! I have been an avid follower of lunkers, 1rod, jon b. and ApBassing for a while and have also subscribed to you. Loved the info you had about the large swim baits, I haven't fished with one before and I have definitely started looking into it. I really enjoy wacky rigging just about any soft plastic and you have made a great video. I visit PaPa@fork as much as I can, maybe we will see you out there some day.

Would you tell the size and brand of hook you use?

Really appreciate it guys, glad y'all are enjoying them!

My apologies I definitely meant to include the hook info. It's a gamakatsu finesse wide gap weedless 1/0 and for the big senko a 2/0.

Gotta love those gama's and owner hooks for the finesse side.
One thing I like to do when wacky rigging is to also add a piece of heat shrink tube where the hook will be. I have found this works a whole lot better than the O-rings and is more cost effective/easier to apply.

Billy I really appreciated your video and I'll certainly try it your way as I love to fish wacky style. I recently bought into the idea of wacky rig fishing with the weighted hooks. This was with a spinning rod and using braid. The 1st fish I had on pulled off. I think that might have been because I was putting too much pressure on the fish and the braid just caused the small hook to pull out. I was also using 4 & 5" Yum Dingers. I'm anxious to try it next time using the trick worms. Thanks again for the video.

I like the idea of the heat shrink deal sounds like it would work well, may have to try that.

Oh yea, the heat shrink works awesome. You want to buy 3/8" and 1/4" heat shrink tube. They come in all sorts of colors, but I get black and white since it will work with most bait colors. They make the bait last MUCH longer. Here is an example of it:
