Fortunately, I sold my pontoon about 5 years ago, it had a removable chest type live well in the middle of the front deck. The piping ran through a round hole through the deck about 6 inch diameter. Yes sirs, I had started making plans to build me a structure around that hole for wintertime use. Still seems like a good idea to me.

The lower the temp goes the lower the water maggots(Jet skis), wake boarders and party boat numbers go. Bring on the cold.

While I prefer warmer (not hot) weather, I have all the clothing required to keep me warm....and I love fishing crappie in the winter time. They are BIG and hit your jig HARD thumb

Hate the cold, but I'm going fishing! Went yesterday at "The Office", and am planning to hit RR tomorrow. Wish us warmth, and lots of lip snatching!

Based on the most recent forecast, sissy weather will arrive early AM Sunday. Sat looks to be windy, 15-20 South; so it's either get in a good day before Sat or wait for sissy weather and go when the high is 39 and wind chill at 30. Think I'll go chase some buckskins then.

You are not a sissy, just getting wiser in your old age. I only go in the winter on nice warm days with low wind. Nothing like a spray of 48 degree water to make you rethink winter fishing.

John 21:3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee.

Good idea Todd, but from experience at high school soccer games don't try the smaller one.
