Different strokes for different folks. Some people buy into new fads and trends more so than others. YouTube subscribers prefer drama and excitement. It's the same reason there's so many stupid tv shows nowadays. I not sure on this quote but I believe it was Dale Eanhardt Jr. "It doesn't matter if you get a good reaction or a bad reaction as long as you get a reaction." I prefer to just rustle them.

what really grinds my gears is when people on youtube say "oh man he choked it!" or "look at that guys, he swallowed it!" and the treble hook is barely on the lip... and im like o.O

I am not directing it at anyone at all. More just in fun as I have noticed on fishing sites and Youtube you see much more colorful ways of saying they caught 'em. I ain't hatin' on anyone cause I know that when it comes down to it I have total control over what I watch and what I let bother me. My comments are meant more tongue in cheek than anything. I am happy for anyone that gets out on the water and spends some time fishing. They can keep on keeping on.
Its all a blessing when I get to fish. Well minus all the stuff I break or lose. Thats probably not a blessing.....

How about the use of the word "epic" and "beast mode" on facebook fishing reports.

As the urban dictionary states: epic shut the f up.

I enjoy many of the videos out there. I understand many of the guides, lure manufacturers...making these available. Even if they say they are simply "sharing info" they are still promoting their sport and their business. I even understand posting(sharing) pictures and information by "regular fishermen". I do it all the time. What I don't get is all those that obviously spend hours or days producing these videos "for fun". Not singling anyone out or meaning any disrespect by this, I just don't get it. Just another hobby. To each his own. Some people look at gardening as a hobby. I call it necessary yard WORK. Just thinking out loud. To each his own. The allure of fishing is unchanged for 1000's of years. The world of fishing has changed exponintialy!

Yeah they do but im not one of them....I like to go nuts when i catch a fish why because IT WHO I AM....You cant rub IKE wrong but he can rub alot of people wrong and i love it....Catching fish is fun... Fishing with my son he loves bass fishing and I love his zest and excitement for fishing IT KEEPS ME YOUNG....I love a good fight UFC when i watch Enter at your own risk...Bullriding when i watch enter at your own risk....Football enter at your own risk...Rippin lips and smashin fish is what i love lol..

When posting videos on a public forum, " to each his own" includes the opinions and viewpoints of all viewers, whether they be positive or negative. It's called feedback. This is how learning to be better at anything takes place.
