Are there any "do it all" collars? We're looking for a bark collar right now, but after that training column ends we might be looking into an actual training collar. Training collars are crazy expensive. Is a bark/training collar a thing, or have the companies not lost the art of ripping us off?

I would never shock my dog over barking. Dogs bark like you talk. Try that collar out yourself first

I didn't have t teach any of my dogs to bark, they all came to me barking excessively already. One of them barks a lot more than the others and has become a real treat to me and my neighbors. I would not know how to teach one to do this, but I hope you find the answers to your questions.

Just lost 2 old Dogs in the last year from old age and have a 3 year old Guy now. Just train them not to bark. Used a choke chain and not to choke but they heard the snap of links and Hush is what I used to train. My Guys never barked at the wind or other dogs. If they did or do bark, you need to check it out. Something is up!

The new people directly behind me have a dog that sounds like a hound from hell, maybe the loudest dog bark ive ever heard and it starts the moment it steps foot outside ntil they bring it in, which is usually pretty quick. I reckon they are too stupid to attempt to train it. I would love to have a device, other then a firearm, that would shut it up

make sure you know how to properly use a shock collar. you can really ruin a dog with improper use.

I got one for my dog because EVERY time a siren went by he would howl, learned it from the Coyotes behind the house. He figured out if he kept his head low enough for the electrode not to touch his neck he could howl to his hearts content. Was a waste of money.

Back when we chased quail in west Texas, we called those collars " hearing aids". I still have a decent tri tronics...

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

Update:
We will be bird training this canine. He will be a working dog. He will be with proper trainers, not Vladamir the Impaler. There are many things in life that do not require specialized equipment. I'm thinking gun dog training's not one of them.

Great looking pup. Tri tronics is what we used when we had the labs.
