I'm planning on going out on Lewisville tomorrow. Big cold front just came through but a strong warm front followed it. It's supposed to be in the 70's but very windy (20-25Mph). I plan on throwing jerkbait and shaky heads around points on the south side to try and stay out of the wind. I'm curious what you guys would do in these conditions?

Cloudy and windy tomorrow: Early, I'd go to rocky points and rip rap Decent water clarity, I'd start with a spinnerbait and a jerkbait Muddier water, bladed swim jig, crank
Could be good tomorrow for a bigger spoon and big swim bait if graph looks good deeper
Default at Lewisville is pitching shallow

Early- I'm heading towards a point that's near the dam. The deepest water in a lake/river is usually at the dam, therefore the water is usually a little warmer. I'm gonna graph points until I find baitfish and/or bass. Depending on where they are in the water column, I'll probably reach for a jerkbait, an underspin, a swimbait, a jigging spoon, Carolina rig, or a football jig. The jerkbait will cover the shallow/medium depths, the underspin and swimbait will cover the middle/deep depths, and the Carolina rig and football jig will cover the bottom.
Mid-morning- I'm heading to some place that has rocks, preferably out of the wind. I'll reach for a flat sided crankbait to bang against shallow/middle depth rocks or I'll probe the deeper rocks with a football jig, shaky head, or an underspin just above the bottom. I don't really want a lot of wind and waves on those rocks because the rocks will warm up faster and retain heat faster if the water is still.
High noon- I'm heading to the windy side of the lake, towards a point, offshore hump, timber along a channel bend, or deep grass. I'll graph each place (except for the grass) and choose my lures based on where the bass and/or schools of baitfish are. The only lure I'd throw around the grass is a jerkbait. On the point or hump, I'll throw a Carolina rig, football jig, swimbait, underspin, or a jigging spoon. I'll throw a jerkbait too if it's shallow enough. I'll fish the timber with a jig. If there isn't a whole lot of structure or cover in the lake and docks are available, I'm skipping a jig under every single dock until I find the pattern.
Afternoon- I'll head back to the rocky area I visited earlier and check things out. The rocks should be at their warmest right now. If things are popping, I'm throwing a jerkbait looking for those slightly active fish that are warming up around the rocks. If nothing is going on there, I'll head to another point or other structural feature that I haven't previously hit. I may even head up the river (if available) and flip shallow cover looking for bigger resident fish.

Cover some water on the windy banks with square bills.
