Hey Guys, Somewhat new to Bass fishing but I jumped in with both feet! Lets say I went Fishing at Toledo Bend around Dec 17th, saying around Six-mile or Housen whats some Advice for Successes in December. Previously throughout the spring and summer I've done well in the creek channels, "offshore" Humps and early morning beating the bank ....what works in December? Thanks for any direction you can Provide.

to the TFF Glen. Glad you are here to share your fishing. The Toledo experts will be around shortly. I have completed mapping work for customers and will be willing to share a couple of winter time spots with you. Just to let everyone know; I do not give up my customers spots. Most are fishing tournaments off of them. Yours will be a couple of new spots. Just send me a PM if interested.

Great video and thanks for your input!!!!
If you are wanting to catch numbers this weekend its all about reaction baits, Square bills, lipless Cranks, Chatter Baits, Jerk baits, (if the water is dirty use bright colors, Whites, Chartreuse, and clown colors) the goal is to make it the lures ERRATIC as possible. to cause the bass to automatically react to it. I will also add that if you choose to throw a Lipless Crank, Chatter Bait or a Swim Jig I wouldn't recommend any heaver than a 1/4 OZ. you can keep a lighter bait in the strike zone a lot longer than you can a 3/8-1/2 OZ sizes.
Now if you are looking for just a Couple of big ones, Big Foot ball jigs, Bulky Swim Jigs, big swim baits, Flutter spoons. Hope this helps! Top Reply Quote Quick Reply Quick Quote Notify Email

I would be interested in obtaining some information on Toledo Bend (mid-lake to south). Thanks
