In January I'm planning on doing a trip up to Texoma for my father's 50th. With my younger brothers, I don't think an offshore trip is feasible. Striper fishing has to be the next best thing right?
My question is if January is a decent month to fish (mid-late Jan) or if it should be a belated gift?
A second question, if allowed, are there any suggestions on a guide service to accommodate 3 adults and possibly 2 children 7&8? 1-2 day trip.
Thanks for any advice.

We would be happy to take you out.Bill Carey's number is in my signature to book a trip. Depending on the temps the kids may get cold quick. The fish will be fat ,and sassy in January.Sometimes it is more finesse fishing that time if year.(Quality fish not always non-stop action) We love fishing with kids, and putting them on non stop action.
Just a suggestion book a trip for Big Fish for Jan.for the adults. Then bring the kids back in the spring for better temps, and action. It is going to be a awsome spring for action this year .
