Oh it's the fillets and the excitement of holding an ultra lite rod over the water and it suddenly bends all the way over.

To me it's much like hunting, being in the outdoors, usually no pressure it's just a great day to be alive and enjoy what mother nature has to offer. I've done all kinds of fishing and crappie fishing TO ME is one of the most challenging fish to catch. "The Thump" every time for me is a rush, you never know whats going to be on the end of that line, a 10 inch crappie or a 10# bass. I truely enjoy being on the water and if I can take the wife and kids (sometimes  ) that's icing on the cake. Oh and there darn tastey too!
