Fluorocarbon is the only line I use for both fresh and salt. It is softer, has less stretch, less memory, and I believe it is smaller diameter than the same pound test line in monofilament. I buy the larger spools because it is a lot cheaper. My last spool came from Bass Pro ordered on the internet. Monofilament is a thing of the past. Just my .02

www.tackletour.com has an article just up comparing floro lines and it also dispels some of the myths surrounding the line. I personally use braid and a floro leader

Ok those of you who use flouro. Which brand do you prefer and why? That little test by taclketour showed berkley trilene to be the best in almost all conditions. Opinions?
