 HPDI running poorly

Bought the skeeter new in Feb. has a 175 HPDI. Had a miss.the shop told me it was a bad connection on one of the injector drivers. It ran great for a while. Then started doing it again on and off. Now it running really bad. It will only do about 4000 rpms. I surges like it wants to kick in then falls back. Got tuffman this weekend. I guess I can take it slow and then put this new boat back in the shop again. I was just wondering if anyone has had an issue like this with the HPDI.

So...why didn't the shop fix the problem in the first place...It's NEW w/ Warranty I assume.

It was supposed to be fixed. It ran good for a 3 months. It's still under warranty. Im thinking that the injector board is out or the bad connection was never properly fixed. Back to the shop with a new engine. Pain it the...!

HPDIs are notorious for high pressure pump issues especially if you have gotten a bad load of fuel at any time.

I have seen way more problems with the low pressure manual pump diaphragms

Put it back in the shop today. When I got home, I found a Yamaha survey in the mail box! I wonder if anyone actually reads these things after we fill them out.
