I have been on google earth & youtube scouting for river day trips in Texas for bass fishing. Just would like to here about some places that would be fun to try. I have a 12 foot sit on top that is pretty stable but I don't want to fight too fast of current. I have been thinking about the lower colorado and the brazos SW of Fort Worth. I would love to hear about other options as well. Thanks!

I'm not sure where you are exactly or how far you are willing to drive but I always loved the Lower Mountain Fork near Beavers Bend. Always had phenomenal luck with the bass fishing there.

JJ4MEL, 428 as in hwy 428? Yep, South of the RR dam. From 380 I go North on 377 then turn Left on to 428. Follow that to the Greenbelt park.

The water release behind Ray Roberts is down to a minimum . A couple sand bass are being seen and some descent size cats. But not the numbers. We need another good rain to get the fish back in the greenbelt. On the lake side of the dam I am seeing size size and numbers of crappie and sand bass being brought in.
And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. Matthew 4:19
