Thanks everyone for the prayers, it means a lot to me. Just got back from the last pre op with doctor and we are good to go for a 12-2, hip replacement! Going to have to get out one more time next week so I won't get withdrawal symptoms. Should be getting back in fishing condition in a little over a month. Excited about feeling good again and not limping around in pain. Hope you all have a blessed Thanksgiving!  Praying for ya Kev, hopefully your downtime won't be too long

Prayers for another fishing TFF. U have lots of prayers, I have requested pray also as I have surgery Momday......darn bladder cancer. Keep All updated. Praying for the Dr to be at the top of His game and peace and comfort for U and Family
Using the site for a while...this is really great to share fishing ideas and success with others.

Just to let everyone know, the surgery went well.
My doctor said that it was the hardest one that he has done this year.
They said my bones were real hard and they really had to do a lot of beating on me.
I was supposed to show up @ 10:30 at hospital for a 12:30 surgery.
I was hoping to get in a lot earlier.
The day of the surgery I got up @ 7 and my phone had 2 messages. They said they had a cancellation and wanted me to get there @ 8. You talk about having to hurry( especially my wife), we got after it and was able to make it to hospital by 8.
They had me admitted and prepped for surgery by 8:30 and then they wheeled me back.
Next thing you know I'm waking up in recovery @ 10:45. Left there around 11:30-12:00 and went back to my prep room.
PT came in and did a few exercises and then they got me up to walk with a walker.
All of that went well and then they got me ready to go. Left hospital around 2:30 pm.
What a day! God is good and I want to thank everyone for all the prayers and support!
Hope to be back in a boat in 4-6 weeks!
