 best bait for sand bass???

i have slaughtered the sand bass on this aswell as crappie catfish and largemouth bass. if it eats shad it will catch it. this is not a rattle trap

Live shad always works well but you could get by with goldfish. Frankly, I don't catch a lot of them no matter what I use.
