Was going to spend the whole day decorating for Christmas, but the lake was just too gorgeous not to get out and fish. So, I went out twice: From 8:30AM til noon and again from 3 to 4PM. On 1st trip caught 26: 19 whites, 6 hybrids and a nice yellow bass. 2nd trip caught 42: 36 whites, a hybrid and 5 keeper yellow bass. In the morning I caught them at Old Pond Dam and Merimac Point, and in the afternoon at Saint Annes Point East and Flagpole Point. The pattern is shallow - 13 to 18 fow working #4 Mepps along bottom where I marked fish. P.S. I did get the tree up and lights on it.

hey Dennis, when you going out to Cedar Creek again, Im from Tyler Tx and would like to know where to launch
boat in that area or meet up and fish. I have my own boat or you can fish with me

Launch at Caney City ramp. North of Malakoff on 31. Go under bridge and start scanning north shore points.

Go around the first point on the north shore then direct to the north shore and scan points going to the west. You will be in prime territory. Scan 15 to 30 ft depth.

Nick, the Caney City boat ramp is on hwy. 198 that runs north and south from hwy. 31 to Gun Barrel City.
