How many people hunt within 800 yards of houses? You might see dogs if that's the case. I've lost count a long time ago on how many dogs I've seen while hunting. I don't shoot on sight. Although cityboy Dan thinks that's the case. City boy Dan? I only asked you to explain. Keep in mind your first post. You said you see a dog you shoot it. Now you've made multiple refinements (back peddles) and you're gonna talk mess to me personally? You are lucky I prodded you into "refinements". Next time state your point with context and I won't have to do this. You are welcome. *And don't shoot my puppy.

I'll shoot a dog if he's attacking me or someone else (my pets qualify as a "someone else" in many situations). But otherwise I just don't see a reason to shoot someone else's dog ... just not cool.

It's not a pet when it's running wild on somebody else's property. At that point it's a nuisance animal not unlike a coyote.

If they're chasing deer they die, collar or not. Care to elaborate? Quite simple really. Your dog is chasing deer, I kill it. Your problem dog became my problem, I'll fix the problem. My dog mostly stays in the backyard, her kennel or her bed there by the TV. That said I've taken her to my buds ranch and she's chased deer. So you'd shoot her if you saw that? I'm pretty sure shooting a collared pet is pretty much [censored]. But tell me when it's ok. For you cityboy Dan

I don't understand people that own poorly behaved dogs. How does your dog chase deer? Leave your property? Dogs that run away from home baffle me the most

So I'm reading this right? It's not ok for a dog to chase deer through the woods but it's ok for humans to walk out there hide 20ft in the air and shoot them? Just because it's something you like to do doesn't give you the right to choose what's acceptable or not. I don't Beleive 2 wrongs make a right but had that guy shot my dogs I'd beat him with in a inch of his life. Not just cause he shot them but because he was snide about it even after he knew what he did was wrong. If he didn't why would he hide them under brish under his stand no deer were gonna go there after that smell. Crazy thing guy was upset he missed out on shooting a deer that don't taste good and he prolly wasn't gonna see anyway.

Dan I'll help you If they're chasing deer they die, collar or not. No he shoots every dog he sees. I'd suspect he also shoots deer... Or tries to. Y'all are getting too easy.
