Headed to SC for Thanksgiving. Appreciate any suggestions and help for places to fling a few flies. Thanks.

Cob ...I don't get on this site much anymore since we moved from Texas to Colorado (i'm in flyfising heaven now!). Anyway ...hope you found some fishing although I would imagine the smoke from the fires might have made it pretty uncomfortable. We were in South Carolina from Oct 1st through the 16th (new grandbaby!). While northern SC does have some decent trout fishing my favorite spots are in the Pisgah National Forest in right over the border in NC. The Davidson River is awesome along with many of it's tributaries.
If you ever head back that way again I can give you a few streams and creeks I have fished north of Greenville.

Thanks for reply. Bad air from smoke every day and rivers were 5 ft low. I didn't even gets rod out. I will be going back a couple of times next year. Any info ( especially about Smallmouth) appreciated
