Is it just me or does Dak remind any of you of Donovan McNabb? He seems to throw it and even run a lot like McNabb. But the look in his eye is more like Russell Wilson.

He reminds me most of Ben Roethlesburger; but Dak is more athletic and moves better.

He showed some real seasoned throws against the Redskins, some drop in passes that showed some real advanced vision, hopefully the trend continues, what worries me is the early passes that are behind receivers, that is the biggest concern with Dak and the previously discussed defense. But 10 wins in a row sure is nice.

He reminds me of Tony Romo in 2006.

Ten wins in a row is nothing but unbelievable. How many QB's in this league have had the opportunity to do that as well as any team?
Dak and Zeke are the real deal.

I'm really not too concerned about the defense. Considering that they are short handed, and have been all season. Yeah they are giving up a lot of yards. They tighten up when it counts. Teams have a hard time scoring six in the red zone. A lot of scores have come off of big plays. They keep bending, still haven't broken yet.
Church should be back by the Giants game. Jaylon Smith has been activated, but still hasn't practiced. I expect he will be ready by January. Hopefully Mo is ready by then also. And if I were Jerry. I would bring McClain back(if possible) for the playoff run. He may be an idiot. Also heard out of shape. But if he can get in shape. They're paying him. May as well play him. He's a beast on the field. Use him long enough for the playoffs. Cut him in March.
Haven't checked this week's rankings yet. But they have been mid pack the last few weeks. So there are worse defenses out there. Full strength I think they could move to top 10. Brown and Heath getting lots of playing time is only going to help when the others get back.
I fully expect them to lose one or two more games. Giants and Lions being the scariest of the ones on the schedule. Possibly Philly if they are in position to rest players.

Just as long as he doesn't start the feed me thing, I'm ok with him getting his day in the spotlight.

I'm waiting for Zeke to get his bell rung and pop up and start doing the feed me thing going to the wrong bench.

Forgot to add. Controlling the clock has helped the defense a lot. Usually even when forced to punt they eat a little clock. Minus that stupid 17 second drive. And I think one or two other dumb drives. There's enough weapons to sustain drives. Beastly is the best slot receiver in the league right not. Witten isn't showing signs of slowing down either. Hell he's having one of his best seasons. McFadden should be back soon too.
Keep controlling the clock, and the defense will sustain enough.

And even if they fall short this year. The foundation is set for several years of really good football. They are a couple defensive picks short of being good. Free agents will be more willing to sign with them also.

It's that block head of his. It gives him extra protection.

I agree with you on the bend don't break philosophy, it seems the emphasis on D is to make the other qb throw incompletes as they keep a lot of guys in coverage, but qb's wind up with decent ratings against us, I am happy that we do on offense, possess the ball for long drives .

I don't know of many teams that have won in the playoffs and the Superbowl with out some kind of sac count from the d line, I don't think any team really, this is what has me worried.

I understand this defense isn't great, but prior to thanksgiving they were only giving up an average of 17 points. That's exceptional, and they had played several teams that have great offenses. The defense really doesn't bother me too much.
