I thought his was a really dumb question until I did some investigation. Their website says April Plaza doesn't open until 7:00am M-F and at 6:30am on the weekends. I do not know if that means you cannot launch at all or not. I looked but couldn't find when Stowaway opens.
Isn't it just traditional for fishermen to be on the water before the chickens awake and such?
FM 830 is a truck break-in waiting to happen.
I think you can launch at Scott's Ridge 24 hours a day.

Rayzor,
April Plaza is now part of MarineMax, and they have a metal electric gate now, if you do not have a boat stored in their slips with your own gate code, you can not get in until the store opens!

Rayzor,

I believe Stowaways opens at 6am. I launched there once shortly after six and they were open. It's ten bucks to launch there and since there are always people around I've always felt comfortable about leaving my truck there.

Also Cagle Campground in the SHNF off FM 1375 on the north end of the lake. Both Cagle and Scott's Ridge are SHNF public ramps for $5/launch/access fee.
Rod & Reel PB: Blue Cat 53 lbs/12 lb test, Flathead Cat 78 lbs/20 lb test, Channel Cat 17 lbs 12 lb test, Texas common carp 40 lbs/12 lb test, White crappie 2.8 lbs, Black crappie 2.3 lbs all Lake Conroe

They all charge too much! Yes they do! Main reason i keep my boat stored at Lake Walden boat storage, we have our own ramp, as well as it's behind a locked gate, and fully enclosed storage shed with electricity!

I believe you can buy the annual pass for Cagle and Scott's Ridge for $30 a year, unlimited use.
Stowaway is a great place, but for me it is only 30 miles from the house to Inland and I don't have to fight 45.
Wait until the Classic, I bet the rates go up that week.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways with a fishing rod in one hand, 10# LMB in the other, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and yelling "Wow! What a Ride!
