The ending was pretty cool and I'm not even a NASCAR fan.

I would have been happy with anyone but Logano. The cards have to fall just right and they fell right into Johnson's lap. He is in rare company with 7 championships.

johnson slips into another Championship, not a fan of the new format so far as i'm concerned #3#43 are the best. Johnson is great but they figured out the gray area of the rules no one has caught them doing,
If Dale Sr was still alive they wouldn't have the BS rule change at the end anyway.

first time in 20+ years I didn't watch a single lap of a single race. Got tired of the rule changes that made most races green-white-checkerd

That's really only because I was flipping channels, and caught it as they were going green. I slowly lost interest after Earnhardt died. Hadn't hardly watched much since Tony had that sprint car wreck that killed that youngster. Congrats to the 48 team for #7.

Yep...unbelievably I am in the same boat as you guys are. I happened to turn it to CBS with 3 laps to go and watch.
I had season tickets to TMS for 12 years (most boring track in the history of racing), went to Daytona 12 times (was there in 2001), Talladega 6 times, Martinsville, Bristol, Charlotte, lots of fun times - rule changes have made this sport a joke in my opinion.
Love Jimmy Johnson - of course he finds the gray areas to win...thats what a Nascar team has always done all the way back to it's inception.
Boring product now.
Whether you think you can or you can't, you are probably right.

Logano wrecked Edwards on that restart, Logano didn't have any chance to win but to wreck him. Then on the next restart Logano is in the same position behind Johnson. Funny how Logano respected Johnson enough to not wreck him, but wrecked Edwards like it was nothing. I'm not particularly a Johnson fan, but respect him a lot. Anybody but whiny Logano is my choice.
Agree Krawlin, TMS is a boring snoozer of a track for Cup cars. I fell asleep during a race there.

Anybody in Nascar could win with Chad Knauss as the Crew Chief. He has secrets in his book no others have.

If Dale Sr was still alive they wouldn't have the BS rule change at the end anyway. If #3 and #43 were still competing, they would be the first to take advantage of the rule change. Congrats to #48 on #7. (is that too many #'s?)
